The second edition from Arran's Explorer Series comes Lochranza Castle, a superb 21-year-old single malt aged in Amontillado sherry. A rich and complex single malt carrying layered aromas of dried fruit, spice and chocolate. Expect a mouth coating palate of honeycomb, more of that fruit true to the Arran house style and hints of oak. A lingering long finish.
